SeniorCitz.com respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information SeniorCitz may collect, why we collect it, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices and rights available to you under applicable law.

This Policy applies to the SeniorCitz website and related SeniorCitz services.

  1. Who We Are

SeniorCitz.com is an independent digital platform providing senior-focused information, educational and lifestyle content, product discovery and referral links, and selected digital services including Future Build employment-opportunity listings.

SeniorCitz does not sell the physical products promoted through its Amazon affiliate links.

Purchases made through Amazon links are completed directly through Amazon or the applicable seller.

Future Build is a separate SeniorCitz platform service through which approved Employers may pay a fee to publish employment opportunities for eligible Seniors.

We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Depending on how you use SeniorCitz, information may include the following.

  1. Website Visitors

We may collect technical or usage information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited
  • Approximate usage information
  • Referring website or link
  • Date and time of website access
  • Technical information required for security and website operation
  1. Contact Forms and Enquiries

If you contact SeniorCitz, we may collect:

  • Telephone number, if provided

  1. Future Build — Senior Information

If you register for Future Build as a Senior, SeniorCitz may collect information necessary to establish and operate your account.

This may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number, where requested
  • Login credentials
  • Age/eligibility information
  • Professional, qualification or experience information that you voluntarily provide
  • Other registration information necessary for operating the Future Build service

Future Build registration is restricted to individuals aged 60 years and above.

Government identity documents

Under the current Future Build model, SeniorCitz does not require or maintain Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence or other government identity documents from Seniors.

  1. Future Build — Employer Information

If you register as a Future Build Employer, SeniorCitz may collect information necessary to establish and administer the Employer account.

This may include:

  • Employer/contact person’s name
  • Organisation/company name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Login information
  • Company information
  • GSTIN where applicable or required
  • Job-posting information
  • Payment and transaction information
  • Other information necessary to administer the Employer service

Employers are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to SeniorCitz is accurate.

  1. Future Build Recruitment Information

Future Build operates on a direct Employer-Senior interaction model.

SeniorCitz does not operate an applicant database and, under the current Future Build model, does not collect, store or track:

  • Resumes/applications
  • Interviews
  • Selection decisions
  • Salary negotiations
  • Job offers
  • Employment outcomes

except where information may otherwise be technically or legally necessary for a specific website/security/support function.

The current Future Build Employer Terms state that SeniorCitz maintains only the information required for Approved Employer accounts, Registered Senior Members and published job opportunities.

  1. How We Use Personal Information

We may use information to:

  • Create and administer accounts
  • Provide website functionality
  • Respond to enquiries
  • Provide customer support
  • Publish and administer Future Build job opportunities
  • Process and confirm Future Build employer payments
  • Maintain appropriate business records
  • Improve website performance and functionality
  • Understand website usage
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security threats
  • Maintain website security
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
  • Protect the rights and safety of SeniorCitz, users and others

We do not sell personal information as a commercial data product.

  1. Future Build Employer Payments

Future Build employer posting fees may be processed through a third-party payment provider such as Razorpay.

SeniorCitz does not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV numbers, banking passwords or other complete payment credentials.

The payment provider may process payment information directly under its own terms and privacy practices.

SeniorCitz may receive limited transaction information such as:

  • Payment status
  • Transaction/reference information
  • Amount paid
  • Date of transaction
  • Associated Employer account
  • Information necessary to reconcile or administer the payment

We may retain transaction information for legitimate business, accounting, legal, tax, security and dispute-resolution purposes.

  1. Amazon Affiliate Links

SeniorCitz participates in the Amazon Associates Program.

When you click an Amazon affiliate link, you may be transferred to Amazon.in.

Amazon and its related services may collect information and use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with their applicable policies.

Amazon’s Associates agreement expressly contemplates tracking information relating to clicks and qualifying purchases for affiliate reporting purposes.

Once you leave SeniorCitz and interact with Amazon, Amazon’s own privacy practices govern information collected by Amazon.

SeniorCitz does not receive your Amazon payment-card information or Amazon order details merely because you clicked an affiliate link.

  1. Amazon Affiliate Disclosure

SeniorCitz participates in the Amazon Associates Program.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Where appropriate, SeniorCitz may also provide a disclosure near individual affiliate links or product recommendations.

Amazon’s current Associates requirements state that affiliate disclosures should be clear and conspicuous and that the required Associate identification should appear on the site.

  1. Future Build Direct Communication

Future Build is intentionally designed so that Seniors and Employers can communicate directly.

Job postings may contain Employer contact information so that Seniors can contact Employers directly.

SeniorCitz does not act as a middleman in individual applications and does not control communications between Seniors and Employers.

The Future Build Terms require Employers to provide a legitimate direct application method.

  1. Data Retention

SeniorCitz retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including:

  • Providing services
  • Maintaining active accounts
  • Supporting users
  • Maintaining business records
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Resolving disputes
  • Meeting legal, regulatory, tax or accounting obligations

Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

When information is no longer reasonably required and there is no legal or legitimate reason to retain it, we may delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it.

  1. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances of processing, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights concerning:

Future Build registration is specifically restricted to individuals aged 60 years and above.
